COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

SPS Corporation is committed to the safety and well-being of everyone associated with our projects and safety is an integral part of our company philosophy. We truly believe when we partner with our employees, customers, clients and community we can make a difference in the safety of the construction industry. SPS Corporation is proactive in our belief that injuries are preventable. As such we have the following (pick one-elements, features, components) in place.

  • Two (2)-OSHA 500/502/510 trained members on staff.
  • Safety audits conducted on all sites on a frequent and regular basis.
  • Frequent safety training on job conditions and equipment to stay current with industry and OSHA standards (Fall Prevention, Silica, Hazard Communication/GHS, etc.)

We also support a work environment that is free of drug and substance abuse. We screen under these conditions

all applicants, random, post injury/incident, project specific and with cause.

Understanding the unique challenges each project has as it relates to safety is critical to sending everyone home safe each day. To that extent, we develop our work plan in accordance with each Site Specific Safety Plan that is developed on each project we are performing work on. This ensures the plan is specific to the individual tasks about to be performed and the potential hazards have been addressed prior to going to work.
